EXPERIENCE AFRICA THROUGH RETAIL AND FOOD. SUPPORTING AFRICAN START- UPS TO REACH THE WIDER MARKET

Our Story

Founded in 2013, Pop Up Africa is an Africa inspired pop up events company. We curate and run African inspired events across iconic spaces. The idea is to bring diversity to the space whilst celebrating culture and giving traders who sell African or Africa inspired goods a platform to sell and promote their products. Events vary from trade events, to street food markets, cultural festivals, private functions and networking seminars.

Pop Up Africa was established out of the founder Jessica Laditan’s desire to make African and Africa inspired retail brands and food more available to a broader audience. The desire resulted in events such as ‘Africa at Spitalfields’, ‘The African Food and Drink Takeover’ and the general ‘Pop Up Africa’ movement.

Pop Up Africa is not just about the physical trading space, but is about bringing African products to life through unique experiences, celebrating culture and inspiring enterprise.

Our Services

Pop Up Africa host a number of events throughout the year that act as a platform for African brands to promote and sell their goods to a wider market. Events range from big scale festivals and markets to smaller scale events to intimate retail pop ups panels and workshops.
